Among the things I love most about Zimbabwe its the little things, the tiny reminders. The warmth of the sun on your face, the sweet scent of jacaranda flowers in the air, Msasa Pods crackling underfoot. This cuff had to be made!
Walking on Msasa pods is fun, it takes multiple pods on the ground to get clots of crackling sound. They are also beautiful to behold by the dozens, so we thought why not twist multiple pods on one cuff? A single stripe of silver was repeatedly curled meticulously by hand to echo multiple Msasa Pods.
